The goal of the Ph.D. program is to educate students to become researchers with international recognition in the field of Telematics Engineering. The main research areas are:
- Telematic services
- Wireless communications
- Design and evaluation of broadband networks and services
- Management, Pricing and Services in Next Generation Networks
- Research Group on Cellular Networks and Location

Master program
NEW From September 2012, the former Master in Telematics Engineering is integrated into the Master of Science in Information and Communication Technologies (MINT).

The Master in Telematics Engineering offers advanced education in fundamental and in recent concepts of telematics engineering from all the points of view : networks, systems and services. Bachelor education
The Deparment is made up of more than sixty professors that carry out their educational activity in the ETSETB, the EETAC and the EPSEVG, teaching courses in the area of telematics engineering.
